Laurie Ann Stoddard

Fiscal Officer

Laurie Ann Stoddard is Fiscal Officer and Assistant Secretary to the Board of Directors of the Development Finance Authority.  As Fiscal Officer, Laurie Ann is responsible for compiling financial statements, budgeting, and document preparation for annual audits, investing reserve funds, managing trustee bank relationships, and Internal Revenue Service tax exempt bond compliance activities.

Laurie Ann also serves on the board of the Development Fund of the Western Reserve as Assistant Secretary, and is Assistant Treasurer to the Akron-Summit County Energy Special Improvement District (ESID) Board.  Laurie Ann assists with managing the ESID including all financial, audit activity and community outreach.

Laurie Ann is an actively licensed CPA, with previous public accounting firm experience as well as Assistant Treasurer for the Village of Boston Heights. In addition to accounting, she has a broad array of business experience in sales, marketing, and management. Laurie Ann enjoys civic and nonprofit volunteer involvement and has served on the Board of Zoning Appeals for the Village of Boston Heights and as Trustee and Bylaws Committee Member of her Homeowners’ Association.

Laurie Ann received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, N.C. and a Masters of Accountancy from Kent State University.
