Finance Manager

Laurie Ann Stoddard is Finance Manager and Assistant Secretary to the Board of Directors of the Development Finance Authority. As Finance Manager, Mrs. Stoddard assists with the portfolio of development finance projects, is responsible for compiling the financial statements, budgeting, and preparing documents for annual audits, and post issuance/Internal Revenue Service compliance activities of the DFA.  Laurie Ann also serves on the board of the Development Fund of the Western Reserve as Treasurer and is Secretary to its Advisory Board. The DFWR is a community development entity awarded an allocation of New Markets Tax Credits serving an 18 county region of northeast Ohio. Laurie Ann’s responsibilities include audit compliance as required by the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI) of the U.S. Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service.

Recently, Laurie Ann has worked in public accounting and as the Assistant Treasurer for the Village of Boston Heights. She is an actively licensed CPA and a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. In addition to accounting, she has a broad array of business experience in sales, marketing, and management. Laurie Ann enjoys civic and nonprofit volunteer involvement and has served on the Board of Zoning Appeals for the Village of Boston Heights as Trustee and Committee member for her neighborhood association, and Strategic Planning Committee member for the Hudson Local School District.

Laurie Ann received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, N.C. and a Masters of Accountancy from Kent State University, where she was awarded membership to Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society.
