
Akron, OH – The Development Finance Authority (DFA) of Summit County is pleased to welcome Mark Greer to the position of Chief Development & Engagement Officer (CDEO).
As CDEO, Greer will lead development and community/stakeholder engagement, create strategies to attract investment, and build strong relationships with policy makers and partners throughout the region and state. Mark joins DFA from his most recent position as Executive Director of Akron 200, the nonprofit organization which oversaw the planning and execution of Akron’s yearlong Bicentennial celebrations. He previously served as the City of Akron’s Small Business Manager and Great Streets Administrator and brings over 10 years of experience as a community and economic development professional, with 10 years’ experience as an educator.
