Mandy Wallwork
Loan Analyst
Mandy Wallwork is a Loan Analyst at the Development Finance Authority of Summit County (DFA), where she plays a key role in evaluating financial statements, loan portfolios, and lending practices to assess credit risk and identify strategic opportunities. She recommends risk mitigation strategies and monitors portfolio trends to support the growth and stability of DFA’s lending programs.
Mandy joined DFA in October 2024, bringing with her a strong background in the mortgage industry. Over the course of her career, she has served as an underwriter, compliance analyst, quality control analyst, and loss mitigation underwriter. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a major in Finance from Kent State University.
What Mandy enjoys most about her role is the opportunity to help small business owners thrive—particularly in Akron, where she spent her early childhood. She sees small businesses as the foundation of any strong city and takes pride in contributing to their success through her work. She is equally grateful for DFA’s supportive and growth-oriented culture, where professional development is encouraged, and teamwork and shared purpose drive day-to-day operations.
Outside of work, Mandy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending concerts, supporting her children’s activities, reading, and being outdoors whenever the weather allows.
