Tim Foor
Community Loan Officer

Tim Foor is the Community Lending Officer at the Development Finance Authority of Summit County (DFA), where he supports borrowers throughout the loan process—from initial intake through closing. In his role, Tim serves as a key point of contact for individuals and small business owners seeking capital through DFA’s lending programs, helping to ensure a smooth, transparent, and accessible experience.

Tim brings a strong background in mortgage lending, with experience in a variety of roles across the industry prior to joining DFA. He is a graduate of Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio, and has developed a deep understanding of both personal and commercial lending needs through years of working directly with clients.

What Tim values most about his work at DFA is the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of small business owners and entrepreneurs across Summit County. He takes pride in seeing how access to capital can transform lives, strengthen neighborhoods, and grow the local economy.

One of his proudest professional achievements is being invited to join the Care Planning Council of Ohio, where he contributed to helping senior citizens age in place—an honor that reflects his long-standing commitment to service and community impact.

Outside of work, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and family dog, often exploring the natural beauty of the Summit County Metroparks together. Whether at work or in the community, Tim brings compassion, dedication, and a people-first approach to everything he does.
