With over 25 years of experience in the banking industry, LiJoi has held roles ranging from Lead Bank Teller to Customer Service Associate, supporting both customers and branch loan officers with their financial needs. She concluded her banking career as a Fraud Investigator, where she honed her attention to detail and strengthened her commitment to protecting others. In addition to her work in banking, LiJoi also contributed to the nonprofit sector, assisting individuals with homeownership and engaging in meaningful community development efforts. She holds an associate degree in Criminal Justice, which has complemented both her financial services and community-based roles.

LiJoi is drawn to DFA because of its mission and community impact. She finds genuine fulfillment in being connected to—and serving—the very community she calls home. She is inspired by helping others, whether through knowledge, resources, or simply being present. For LiJoi, joining DFA represents an opportunity to be part of something bigger: an organization dedicated to growth, revitalization, and lasting neighborhood impact.

Outside of work, LiJoi enjoys spending time in nature, tending to her flower garden, traveling, being with family, and embracing new experiences. She also serves as a poll worker—a role that allows her to stay connected with her neighbors and contribute to civic engagement.
