As of April, 2012, the name of the Summit County Port Authority (SCPA) was changed to the Development Finance Authority (DFA).

The Development Finance Authority of Summit County works with economic development professionals, legal and financial professionals, and the business community to bring economic development to Summit County and Northeast Ohio. Our overarching goal is to drive community development and enhance the economy and quality of life in our region.
