Ben Pickens
Compliance Manager

Ben is responsible for compliance and marketing functions for Development Fund of the Western Reserve (DFWR) and the Western Reserve Community Fund (WRCF). He manages DFWR and WRCF’s loan servicing, monitors outcome tracking, ensures fiscal and program compliance, works closely with borrowers and consultants, and performs a variety of administrative, accounting, marketing, clerical, and management support activities necessary for the organizations to run efficiently and be promoted in an effective and professional manner.

Ben received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Austin College (Sherman, TX) and a Master of Arts in Economics from Miami University (Oxford, OH). In 2019 he completed two years of service as an AmeriCorps VISTA in East Akron, and has since enjoyed working to further his career in community and economic development.

Ben resides in Cuyahoga Falls and enjoys the outdoors, photography, cooking, and creating pencil portraits on commission.
