Nii Nortey
Loan Analyst

Nii Nortey is the Loan Analyst for the Development Finance Authority of Summit County and its managed entities. He is responsible for the loan portfolio management of the Western Reserve Community Fund (WRCF) as well as participates in the ongoing risk management for the other entities. He analyzes loan risk and exposure, ensures compliance with policies and procedures, and collaborates with the Chief Financial Officer and the Managing Director of the Western Reserve Community Fund to maintain accuracy in all investor and board-approved loans. He performs quarterly analysis according to loan guidelines and prepares reports for committees and management decision-making.

Nii received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in International Business Management and a Master of Science in Economics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology School of Business, Kumasi-Ghana. He also holds an MBA in Finance and a Master of Public Administration degree from Ball State University, Muncie-Indiana. Nii has experience in micro and small business lending and conducting economic research experience on issues facing small businesses, small cities, and rural communities.

Nii Lives in Stow with his wife and kids; he enjoys cooking, long-distance driving, and researching, and he is also interested in current affairs and geopolitics.
