Akron, Ohio (January 4, 2022) At its final Board meeting of 2021, the Development Finance Authority welcomed new member Shana Earle, who was appointed by Summit County Executive Ilene Shapiro and confirmed by County Council.
Ms. Earle is the Vice President, Professional and Support Services at Akron Children’s Hospital. She has held a number of leadership positions within Children’s in operations and finance.
Also, the DFA has elected new Officers for the years 2022 and 2023:
Serving as Chairman: Julie Wesel, CEO of Chemstress;
Vice Chair: Mark Lerner, President Emeritus of GOJO Industries; and
Secretary: Dan Rice, President & CEO, Ohio and Erie Canalway Coalition.
